Giveaway Winners - GIRLS IN TRUCKS

I used random.org's Random Sequence Generator to select the winners for THE GIRLS IN TRUCKS giveaway . There were 8 comments but only 7 were entries. I put "1" as the smallest value and "8" as the largest value. I then chose the first five numbers as the winners. Since comment #6 was not an entry I am skipped it and am declaring comments 5, 8, 7, 4, 2 as winners going by the list the the generator spit out.

A note to all!

I am going to be moving blogs. I will still be on Blogger, but I will be shifting my focus to include products that I use in my home/with my kids. I have been a member of Bzz Agent for about 2 years, but never thought about sharing my thoughts and opinions of the items I get from them with my blog readers. I will be blogging about the books I read, products I get from Bzz Agent, products I get through gifts or buy myself (only the interesting ones, promise).

For a few months I have been bugging my mother, demanding, she give me feedback. I have branched out into some of my other contacts. I'm kidding about the "demanding" part. =)

It is an active blog right now and I have been copying my last few posts to my new blog (after importing all of the old ones) I just have been keeping the URL between myself and the handful of people I have asked for input. If you think you (REALLY) want to see a work in progress, e-mail me or comment and leave a way for me to contact you. I plan on officially launching it and 'rebranding' myself some point before September 2009.

Announcement! part 2

And one more announcement!

• I'd like to let you know about a new award. I've created the Hyacinth Award. I'll be using this to identify my bestest favorites. =) I got the idea from bethany's Happy Chicken Award. I toyed around with this idea when I had my old blog, but never got around to actually 'creating' one. So keep your eyes open for this award on future reviews. At some point this week I will be going through the reviews on my old blog and grace some of those with the Hyacinth Award.

I'd like to make an announcement

• Next year I will be having a little contest. On January 1, 2009 I will be installing a widget that will track the Top Commenters. I will be giving prizes to the top 5 commenters of 2009. I'm thinking a Gift Card for 1st place (amount to be determined, but at least $25.00 US.) I'm not sure what the prizes for second through fifth should be. I'm very open to suggestions.
